Heartbeat of Columbiana County has two major events each year. These events serve three powerful purposes:
- To create awareness in our community regarding abortion.
- To raise funding for our efforts in protecting unborn lives.
- To celebrate the amazing things God is doing through Heartbeat's ministries.
Each spring, we host a Vision Banquet. Vision Hosts invite a table full of friends and family who share their passion for pro-life ministry. After a beautiful dinner, we have a special program that helps our guests understand our mission and values. We share stories of God's faithfulness from the previous year. At the end of the evening, our guests have an opportunity to make a financial contribution. Our annual banquet has become an extraordinary event that many of our supporters look forward to each year. If you're interested in participating in next year's Vision Banquet on April 12, 2018 let us know through the CONTACT page!
Walk for Life
In the fall, on the second Saturday of October, pro-life supporters from the tri-state area gather at Thompson Park for our annual Walk for Life. This event is a fun-filled, family-friendly morning in the park. Walkers converge on the main pavilion with pledge forms in hand. We begin with a continental breakfast provided by local businesses. After walking the beautiful trails of the park, we celebrate awards over a picnic lunch. Every walker with at least $50 in pledges receives a free t-shirt. For three decades this event has brought like-minded people in our community together to celebrate life!
You can do so much to make a difference! Get started by printing your Pledge Form. Use the Sponsor Letter to ask your friends and family to pledge. Build awareness by hanging Posters around the community. Bring a team to walk together and participate in the friendly group competition. Ask your pastor to promote the Walk by using the Bulletin Insert and playing the Walk 2017 Video (below) for your church family. Begin today to make a difference for life!
